Disabilities - Early Intervention and Special Education Processes

The Special Education process can be difficult to understand for parents, staff and administrators in general education. In this workshop we explore terminology, federal categories of disabilities, timelines and integrating individualized plans (IFSPs and IEPs) in the general education setting. This interactive training covers how to read and interpret the IEP/IFSP and translate it into a developmentally appropriate approach that aligns with the California Preschool Curriculum Foundations®, California Infant/Toddler Learning & Development Foundations®, and the California ECE competencies®.
