Strengthening Families: A Protective Factors Framework

Strengthening Families: A Protective Factor’s Framework seeks to educate the ECE community on the following:

1. Protective factors that reduce the likelihood of child abuse and neglect and how these protective factors act as a buffer against toxic stress and promote well-being for both child and family.

2. How to more effectively build relationships with parents and families as partners to support effective parenting skills, discovering resources, and ultimately building protective factors.
