Developmental and Behavioral Screening

a) Screenings: Early Developmental and Behavioral - ASQ 3® and ASQ SE2®

Early screenings are the most effective means to detect and identify issues that challenge learning. This hands-on training will review the two most commonly used screening tools that can support a child’s referral to the Local Education Agency (LEA) or Regional Center and/or inform instruction and planning.

b) Assessments

Birth-to-five early care and education programs in LA County administer the DRDP 2015 for all children-- including those with disabilities. This training reviews how DRDP 2015 is structured, completed and how assessment data can assist IEP teams develop appropriate education plans for children in the general education setting.
